iZZiE Voodoo...

A name that sticks in your head.

A name that came out of the mouth of the mate of a girl who went to great lengths to ignore all musical trend and go her own way- and said because he felt that what he had heard had cast a spell - and that she had created her own musical form of voodoo

- Izzie voodoo.

iZZiE's music conjures something that stays effervescing in your head in a pop induced frenzy for days, tantalizing your musical tastebuds with flavours from electronica to electro through dance into rock and even goth with a buzz of industrial and a tinge of something sparkly from the 80's.

Could you fail to like it?

Last year’s highly acclaimed album, described by journalists as ‘slickly delivered rock electronica’;  ‘modern fire with 80s electro, laced with punk energy and pop seasoning’; and ...'an exhilarating and electrifying outing from this visionary digital experimentalist’ was deleted in the new year at iZZiE's direction due to complications with it's release label and 'technical issues'.

Some of it's reviews, however tell us it is deserving of a  second breath of life, and some of it's songs (the highly popular 'Pyromania', the 2007 Song of the Year award winner, 'Sound', and occasionally the spine chillingly vivid 'Dry Heat') are in the live setlist.

This year, attached temporarily to her own record label, Lippy Trip, iZZiE has announced a  string of singles and is  taking every live show by storm, parading her brand new EP material with stage cohort, Lawrence Mahmood- Electric Bass and Projected imagery with as much determination and vibrance as you might expect from someone who is also steeped in Martial Arts and theatre.
